Primary Teacher of the Year 2005 Trevelyan May is a young teacher fully enthused by the possibilities that both his job and pupils offer.
In this programme, we look at his work and find out what makes him an inspiring figure within his school. Each lesson is tailored to his students' learning needs in fresh and exciting ways that use technology to great effect.
Trevelyan's lessons are packed with games and challenges as he motivates pupils to learn and build on their successes. Through meeting his colleagues it is clear that Trevelyan is essential to the wellbeing of his school.
Outside the classroom Trevelyan's skills are again in evidence as he leads the choir and, as a result of his award, prepares for a trip to Antarctica to help set up an educational website.
