In this programme the geography department at Weydon School in Surrey discuss the precautions and planning required for a school trip to Iceland.

In recent years high profile accidents on school trips have deterred teachers from running potentially hazardous trips abroad, but Weydon School are determined that their students should not miss out on the opportunities offered by trips to exciting places.

The department focus on how to plan a safe trip, as well as ensuring that pupils come away with something useful from the outdoor classroom.
