This programme takes a look at how one innovative school in Nottinghamshire is making education fun and improving performance.
Grange Primary School has two shops, a canteen, a craft centre, a TV and radio station and a museum, all run by pupils working to AS level standards.
Not bad for a school that was under achieving three years ago!
The project aims to make learning more relevant to everyday life. Every Friday afternoon pupils get to work on their Grangeton enterprise and by the time they reach Year 4, are able to apply for management positions within the village.
Such is the success of this remarkable project, the local secondary school has asked Grange Primary to help develop the village for secondary level.
