Newly qualified teachers (NQTs) have to contend with a great deal. Not only are they faced with the challenges of teaching, they must also learn to work successfully with their colleagues outside of the classroom.
Induction expert Sara Bubb gives some practical tips to NQTs Helen Weeks and Tamsin Wicks. Both teach in south London schools but are experiencing a range of different problems.
By watching footage of the NQTs in action, Sara is able to provide insight into where things are working well and where diplomacy, or a different approach to people management, would be beneficial.
Sara's advice provides Helen and Tamsin with a valuable set of skills that help to improve and develop the effectiveness of their working relationship with other members of staff.
