A Shropshire Christmas follows one school as it prepares for the big performance at the local church.

Headteacher and deputy head work hard to produce a high standard of performance which they believe not only benefits the children, but also encourages links with parents and the local community.

The programme captures a moment in time, reminiscent of all school plays, whether in rural Shropshire or the inner cities.
