Brettenham Primary School in north London has used a structure of playtime activity to dramatically improve standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
This programme looks at how Brettenham has adopted a sports orientated playtime activity, which in turn, has dramatically improved standards of behaviour and achievement.
Under the guidance of deputy head, Deborah Hall, the school has invested in a wide range of equipment and TAs to provide pupils, not just with diverse playtime activity, but a sports lead programme of play.
It's a sporting theme that goes deeper than most schools' programmes, teaching children tactics, strategies and sporting ethics.
