KS3/4 Humanities - Crossing Core Subjects

Description

Humanities subjects at KS3 are often taught independently of each other. In this programme, we see Uplands Community College in East Sussex incorporating history, RE and geography in a single field-trip to Lewes.

Year 8 pupils investigate the castle, church and town from the perspectives of each subject and begin to understand the overlap between them. President of the Humanities Association Steve Johnson later makes his observations on the trip.
