To combat increasing violence and racism in school, two Stoke-on-Trent schools implemented successful projects. This whole-school video for primary and secondary reveals how they brought pupils together.
Each school took a different approach, and each achieved similar success in uniting KS2, KS3 and KS4 pupils, a process that supports the Every Child Matters agenda.
One of the schools brought in race-equality experts while the other took an outreach approach, bringing in a team of breakbeat dancers.
