Children around the country are being invited to audition to sing for The Queen at her Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Children aged between 10 and 13 who are currently singing in choirs across the UK are encouraged to enter the competition which will culminate in a performance at St Paul's Cathedral in London.

The winning group of 40 lucky children will get to sing for The Queen in June. All those auditioning have to sing the same song which has been written specifically for the occasion.

Auditions are taking place over the next few weeks.
