The activities in this programme demonstrate ways in which inclusive learning can be enhanced through specific interventions and in mainstream activities. In Blackburn, Training 2000 have developed a ‘Girls Allowed Into Engineering’ day which targets KS3 students in an effort to show them alternatives to gender stereotyped jobs. Pleckgate School pupils are engaged in the Institute of Physics ‘Lab In A Lorry’ activity, learners from a range of backgrounds with differing needs are included in this.
