This lesson plan aims to engage pupils with looking at and finding out about the past by investigating things that have changed since 1930. This includes looking at developments in transport, engineering, electronics and education. Through writing a letter to a child from the 1930s, pupils are able to think about and understand what changes have taken place in their lifetimes and compare how we live now to how people lived in the past.
