Jon Scieszka, the best selling American children's writer and US ambassador for children's literature gives his top tips for teaching primary English.
Jon talks about his love of stories and his experiences growing up. He also explains that teaching made him want to write stories for children and make reading enjoyable.
Jon, who taught for 10 years before turning to writing, says "Just remember it's all about fun - if kids enjoy turning the page to find out what happens next, they'll come back for more."
