A 14-year-old boy talks about how he was bullied for being different, leading to self-harming, in a short PSHE lesson and assembly starter for primary and secondary pupils.
He explains how his preference for singing and dancing, instead of football led to extreme bullying. He refused to attend school and he began self-harming.
This short video can be used to begin discussions with pupils on issues including what it means to be different, peer pressure and how stereotypes affect the way pupils judge their classmates.
