Secondary Singing with Howard Goodall - Making Singing Happen

Description

Presenter and composer Howard Goodall gives practical advice on how to encourage singing in secondary schools.

SING UP ambassador Howard offers key strategies for choosing repertoire, singing in class, working with singing leaders and getting boys to sing.

He also speaks to three experienced practitioners and their colleagues, who explain the key issues involved and there is some great singing, from chart songs to African singing, with choirs and in classrooms.

Steve Cook from Formby High School, Caroline Gale from Guildford County School and Nick Bowers Broadbent from St Bonaventures Boys in Newham, feature as the experienced practitioners in this video.
