Make Key Stage 2 French learning fun with a treasure hunt on the Caribbean island of Martinique. Primary pupils can learn words like chemise (shirt) and poubelle (dustbin), as well as directions and numbers.
Matis and his friends are doing a treasure hunt around their school and there are five clues to get to the treasure. Each clue suggests directions they should take, for example whether they should turn left or right.
Filmed in Martinique, these short videos support the language objectives in curriculum unit 15 of KS2 French, On the Way to School, creating the opportunity for primary pupils to develop their modern language skills and cultural understanding.
