A teenage Iraqi refugee talks about his working life in Syria, in this lesson starter for use in Key Stage 3/4 global citizenship lessons.

Seif is a 16-year-old boy who has given up his education in order to earn money for his family.

Secondary pupils can hear him talk about a typical working day at the cafe, voicing his frustrations at being unable to continue his studies.
