A Key Stage 3 MFL teacher talks...
- Education Professionals
A primary teacher's lessons are rated as good and she faces the challenge of becoming outstanding. See top school inspector Clare Gillies and a team of experts assist her in this pedagogy and CPD resource.
Clare observes Salma Ali's Year 1 literacy lesson and highlights her need to create more speaking and listening opportunities in the classroom. She also needs to keep her eye on the timings of activities such as lesson starters.
Salma then receives one-to-one CPD from primary literacy consultant Jane Scholey. And she works on pedagogy and takes confidence-building tips from presentation and communications expert Mo Shapiro.
Salma then has just three weeks back in the classroom at Sebright Primary School, putting their advice into action before Clare returns to observe another lesson and deliver her final verdict.
Will Salma meet the challenge and improve from good to outstanding?
