At Collingwood College in Camberley, Science Teacher Angalika Newton is eager to introduce careers in science to her students.
Angalika works with Head of Careers Lorette Parker to plan a lesson to introduce the kinds of jobs that science can lead to.
They are looking at introducing a range of techniques into the classroom which will equip the students with the information they need to make informed choices.
These include bringing outside visitors into the school, peer-to-peer and one-to-one learning conversations and consolidating their ideas in the form of a careers map.
This programme is part of a series looking at the careers available in STEM professions.
Part of the series: STEM Subject Choice and Careers
