Miss Kilmister and Me

Description

Staffroom Monologue Miss Kilmister and Me tells the comic tale of why a voluntary helper has discovered a sudden passion for education.

The short audio play, read by Steve Punt, is one of the winning scripts chosen from the Staffroom Monologues competition. Following the play, there is an interview with writer Tim Connery, a voluntary helper in a London primary school.

Staffroom Monologues is a series of five short plays based on winning scripts from the 2008 competition run by SchoolsWorld, in association with the National Union of Teachers. Now in its second year, the series offers an alternate view of life in an educational environment, written by those who work within it.
