SchoolsWorld and Me - Lynn

Description

Lynn Bhania is a senior lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Hertfordshire. She is responsible for training new teachers and is also the professional lead on inclusion.

Lynn encourages her trainee teachers to use SchoolsWorld as a valuable research tool, asking them to each select, watch and then discuss programmes in detail in order to gain a virtual experience of life in a school.

In the past, Lynn relied on the real life experiences of her students to help them with their training. Through SchoolsWorld she now has access to a huge number of classrooms, allowing her students to see a vast wealth of teaching practice. Lynn says that SchoolsWorld is "the best thing since sliced bread"!
