Secondary modern foreign languages (MFL) teacher Rebecca Wills' teaching is rated as good, but there's room for improvement. Can she become outstanding with the help of pedagogical and professional development experts?
Top school inspector Clare Gillies assesses Rebecca during a Year 8 German lesson, pointing out key areas in which she could improve. Rebecca also takes CPD advice from AST Pauline Bullen and voice and communications coach Ulrika Schulte-Baukloh.
She then has three weeks back in the classroom at Beal High School in Essex, to apply the experts' advice before Clare returns to observe a second lesson and deliver her final verdict. Will Rebecca's teaching become outstanding?
