Kings Langley School in Hertfordshire is currently applying for specialist arts status, adhering with the specialist-school programme's aim of all secondary schools having specialist status.

Chair of governors Frances Stickley visits Nower Hill High School, Harrow, which has held specialist arts status for five years. Frances discovers how the arts now permeate throughout the entire curriculum at the school.
