Jonathan Dimbleby speaks to shadow schools secretary Michael Gove about his claims that the Conservatives are better equipped than Labour to deliver a successful state school system.
At the Tory party conference in October 2007, Gove claimed "social justice" was his goal. He also criticised the divisions in attainment between the rich and poor, labelling them a "scandal".
Gove - one of David Cameron's closest allies - is questioned on the policies he believes will transform education under a Conservative government.
