The UK's only black female rocket scientist, Dr. Maggie Aderin, is as much in demand for her inspiring science talks as her instrument-building prowess.
Maggie is seen as a real inspiration to all young women interested in pursuing a career in science, but as a young girl she struggled at school. Being diagnosed as having dyslexia helped, but the key to Maggie's success was determination and hard work.
We follow Maggie to South Africa to see the South African Large Telescope, and then to the science festival in Grahamstown.
