Secondary Special Needs - SEN Pupils in Transition

Description

At Plashet School in east London, all prospective pupils visit before attending the school, providing staff with an opportunity to assess the needs of new SEN pupils.

In this programme we meet future student Atiya, who comes with the SENCO from her primary school to discuss her needs with Plashet's primary liaison officer.

We also look at what's been done for SEN pupils in the current Year 7 by following the progress of Olironke, a student with a hearing impairment, and Maleeha, one of the school's more challenging SEN pupils.
