Frances Stickley visits John O'Gaunt School in Hungerford to find out how they implemented extended services.

Kings Langley School in Hertfordshire, where Frances is chair of governors, are planning to apply extended services and want to see how the five core offers have been addressed elsewhere.

Frances learns the crucial role of Extended Services Coordinator, who liaises with students, parents, stakeholders and the wider community.

She also discovers the success of the family support workers assisting a child's transition from nursery to primary, through to secondary school.
