KS3/4 Creative Arts - Figures in the City

Description

AST Rod Hepworth uses contemporary art to stimulate his KS3 class in a large-scale painting project exploring figures in the city.

The class are excited after being introduced to the work of Albert Irvin. They then collect images of street figures using digital cameras, and project their work onto large panels and produce their own paintings.

The programme aims to encourage teachers who lack confidence with contemporary art projects.
