What are the issues involved in being at the cutting edge of ICT development in secondary schools? In this programme, a group of teachers and advisers from programmes 1 and 2 join Bernie Zakary from Becta to discuss their experiences of using ICT to deliver personalised learning.
The panel debate the pros and cons of risk-taking; the potential conflicts between personalised learning and formal assessment; and the impact that ICT initiatives could have on teacher workloads.
The conclusion? There's still a long way to go, but it's clear that teacher and learner behaviour is changing, and needs to change, to make the best of the new technologies.
