Description

Can handheld devices or personal digital assistants (PDAs) help to remove significant barriers to learning, and enable flexibility of access, cross-curricular use, and extended learning opportunities beyond the classroom?

In this programme, we visit two schools that have been involved in the first phase of the Dudley LEA pilot, to find out how pupils and teachers have been adapting to the new technology.

Despite some teething problems, the initial response from schools is very positive. Teachers and pupils are exploring how the technology might transform teaching and learning in the future.
