In this programme, two schools demonstrate how implementing simple health and safety measures does not have to compromise PE lessons.
At Rawmarsh Community School, a sports college near Rotherham, pupils enjoy traditional PE lessons. We see how health and safety procedures are brought into play without hampering the interesting and challenging nature of their activities.
Meanwhile at Thorpe St Andrew, pupils participate in a scuba diving class. Despite the more adventurous nature of their lessons, the same fundamental procedures can be implemented with equal success.
